Hi guys...

So it's been a crazy couple of months since I last posted...have you noticed everyone has myspace now?  It kind of freaks me out all the people from high school that keep finding me on there...I haven't talked to these people in forever!  Anyway, I hardly ever write on there, unless I'm really bored (like right now!).  At least on xanga I know that (for the most part) I know the people that are reading this...does anyone still read this?? (besides my mom?)

Anyways...let me just start by saying the whole wedding planning experience is DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!  And I am hardly handling any of the details!  I've got a great wedding planner (aka my mom!) who is taking care of a lot of it 'cause she knows how her baby girl can lose it sometimes...and let me tell you, I am on the verge.  Probably I have brought a bit much on myself right now...in addition to work, school, and wedding stuff, we are also about to buy a house!  We are about to enter our option period, get it inspected this Saturday, and make a final decision early next week.  After spending every Saturday for the last month looking at houses (I'd say we looked at close to 25-30!) we finally found one we really like, can afford and is still available.  So, I am trying to stay somewhat unattached, just in case it all falls through, but hopefully by the end of April we will be in a new house!

The last couple of months have been a bit...tumultuous...to say the least and we have ended up staying with my parents.  Who says you can't go home again??!!  There have been some financial "issues" with the wedding and honeymoon that have added a lot of stress, not just to me but I'm sure to my parents as well.  I guess you could say that Travis' family and I don't see exactly eye-to-eye...I just keep reminding myself that you "marry the family" too and I need to give them the same grace shown to me.  But sometimes....

In any case, I am getting more excited about the wedding...I had kind of lost sight of the fact that this is supposed to be a 'fun' time in my life!  But I had a wonderful shower last weekend that really brought my spirits up and I get my dress back from alterations in one week!!!  They should probably hold it til the day before the wedding 'cause I am going to want to wear it all around the house!!!  Shame I only get to wear it once...

Just about all the invites are out, although we are a little confused...our list shows we have mailed out several more invitations than we ordered...not possible!  So if someone gets an empty envelope, let me know  .  It will be here before I know it!  This weekend is Easter, next is Michelle's wedding(!), the next is my bridal pictures, the next will (hopefully!) be our moving weekend, the next is my second bridal shower, then mother's day, then the wedding!!!  I can't believe how quickly it's coming...

Well...in addition to wedding stuff, house stuff, and the occasional shift at work , I am also in school...as such, I should not be doing this, I should be doing lab work...so I am going to quit procrastinating and move on to important things...

Hope everyone is well!  I didn't update much on Travis, but he's great, working long hours but making lots of money which is why I am marrying him (Hahahahaha, JK!!).  Talk to ya'll later!

Wow, I still have a Xanga...who knew?

It's been a few months since I posted anything and I don't have too much say right now, but I am killing time and thought I'd write a quick update.  Since my last post in September(?) I have moved, changed majors (again!), changed schools (again!), changed jobs (long overdue!), bought a new car (for Travis, not really me), and highlighted my hair.  I'm sure I've done some other interesting things but I can't think of them right now.  Right now we are living with Travis' mom and stepdad (still in FW) and I am commuting to Tarleton where I am majoring in computer science.  Which is a major I should have picked long ago because it really suits me, but I guess I resisted it because it's my dad's field or I thought it would be boring or I don't know.  Anyways, I love it.  We were going to move down south to Granbury or somewhere, but Travis got a good job in Grapevine so we are both commuting opposite directions for awhile.  Anyways, I got a job at Outback on Bryant Irvin and I absolutely love working there and I don't really want to change jobs again.  Thank the Lord, I do not have to serve grits ever again!!!!!  Travis finally fixed his car after a wreck back in November that left us carpooling for awhile and, seeing as how he just graduated from Lincoln Tech, he was able to do all the work himself...I love car guys!  (Particularly mine!)  But...as it always seems to go, just when life is getting a little easier, things get worse...last week his timing belt snapped and left him with a big, messy, expensive job.  But God took care of us once again and we were able to buy a Chevy S-10 for a great deal and now he can focus on fixing up his car while having a reliable one to get him to and from work (and I can have my pretty pretty prelude back!).

Okay, that paragraph really needs to be split into a few, and I'm sure I have some run-on sentences up there somewhere, but I am tired and don't feel like editing it.  :)  I hope everyone reading this is doing well and remember...I may only post on here every few months, but I read about you everytime you post!  Love ya'll!

Jenn
